PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology<\/b>\u00a0is SKPVV Hindu High Schools Committee\u2019s contemporary contribution to the cause of education with a new discipline in the sphere of Engineering & Technology. This clearly depicts the Committee\u2019s keenness to promote education in varied feasible areas. The Committee, a non-profitable academic organization, had been managing schools and arts and science colleges very successfully till 2008.<\/p>

And thereafter, the Committee expanded its educational services to technical education which led to the establishment of\u00a0PSCMR College of Engg & Technology<\/b>\u00a0during the same year. This is, by and large, the\u00a0first such institute in the city limits of Vijayawada<\/b>. The college,\u00a0affiliated to JNTU Kakinada<\/b>, made a humble beginning with an\u00a0intake of 240 students, 60 each in the branches of ECE, CSE, EEE and IT.<\/b><\/p>

MBA course<\/b>\u00a0was added in the following year, making a steady progress. In\u00a02013, Civil and Mechanical Engineering<\/b>\u00a0branches were added to the existing branches. In\u00a02014, Polytechnic Course was initiated with Civil and Mechanical<\/b>\u00a0Branches. Currently, the college is moving forward very successfully with around 2600 students and fully qualified faculty as per\u00a0AICTE norms<\/b>\u00a0with good ratio.<\/p>

In only its\u00a0fourth year of functioning<\/b>, the college with huge success rate of students was able to provide quality placements for the qualified graduates. Students are encouraged with paid internships from 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year onwards. Incubation centers like\u00a0Eurth Techtronic\u2019s, HBOTS, E-Yantra, Future NDT, TCS Language Lab, IIT Bombay Remote Centre for learning<\/b>\u00a0etc, are also available in the college which provide industrial exposure to students.<\/p>

PSCMR boasts of its\u00a0Training & Placement Cell<\/b>\u00a0for giving 100% placement guidance to students which helps them build a long time career in leading organizations. CRT is provided to student\u2019s right from the first year in the areas of\u00a0English Communication Skills, Aptitude and Reasoning by specially recruited domain experts<\/b>. With the able guidance given by all the departments, students are placed in reputed MNCs like\u00a0Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Cyient, Deloitte, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro and Glenwood Systems<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>

For a profound engineering education, assured post qualification career and secured placement, PSCMRCET is among the best destinations. The college aims at empowering students with social and career oriented education that can benefit themselves and the society, as well.<\/p>

Separate hostel facility for girls and boys is provided in a pleasant and secured environment.<\/p>

Apart from RTC buses, the college provides bus facility to students and faculty from different areas of the Vijayawada city and suburbs.<\/p>

The College has spacious canteen facility which provides hygienic food at subsidized rates. RO water facility is available round the clock.<\/p>

The campus offers sprawling lawns and neatly tended greenery that add a nuance of natural beauty to the overall ambience.
